Suzanne Stefan, our in-store artist for the months of June and July, is quite a busy and talented lady. Both a sculptor and architect, she currently works and resides in Seattle. Having received a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and attending the masters program at L’Accadema di Architettura in Mendrisio, Switzerland, Stefan has had a multitude of cultural influences. Raised in the United States, India, and Belgium, she’s traveled extensively- with her visits to the remote and austere landscapes in East Africa, Asia, and Europe acting as a major source of inspiration for her work. Stefan’s current pieces continue her investigation of folding light and shadow.
